Arsenal have a strong interest in hiring Rennes striker Ismaila Sarr next summer, according to reports.
Gunners chief Unai Emery apparently confirmed that the club could only grant additional loans to his squad this month.
"We do not sign permanently," said the Spaniard. "We can only lend to players, only to the players of the loans."
However, reports in France suggest that the North London club is aligning possible summer goals.
Le10 Sport said Arsenal told Sarr they were willing to make a move for him at the end of the season.
Sarr has scored nine goals in all competitions this season, adding six assists, and it is likely that the international Senegal will track Emery's part between now and the end of the season.
It is said that the giants of Serie A, Inter Milan and Roma, are in the race for Sarr, who joined Rennes de Metz in 2017 for a fee of £ 15.3 million.
The movement has won praise after its exploits at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and in July, says that Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are interested.
"He's very quick with a good technique," said Thierno Seydi, player agent, SunSport after the World Cup.
